We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Managerto join our fast-growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, implementing and improving inventory control processes, and leading a team to meet production and customer demands. reporting to the VP of Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES – To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping, to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a cycle counting program to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other tools to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and generate reports for management review.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse performance, such as inventory turnover rate, order fulfillment accuracy, on-time delivery, and warehouse productivity.
  • Analyze KPI data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure. monitor and enforce the warehouse operations are in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 13485, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Train warehouse staff on GMP, ISO 13485, and OSHA standards, as well as SOPs, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of the warehouse to identify and address any compliance issues or safety hazards.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping related to warehouse operations.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies to maintain a safe and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations and other departments to facilitate communication, address issues, and ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement among warehouse staff.

QUALIFICATIONS - The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in warehouse management, preferably in a medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and JIT inventory systems.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office applications.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team of warehouse personnel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in inventory management and data analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to medical device manufacturing (e.g., FDA regulations, ISO standards) is desirable.
  • Forklift experience with an operator certificate.
  • Hazardous material handling certificate a plus.
  • Experience utilizing Deacom ERP a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, required.

  • Clarity of vision at 20 inches or more; able to view a computer monitor for extended periods of time.
